COVID-19 cases drop as NCDC reports 195 fresh cases, 10 deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 195 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country since the outbreak in 2020 to 158,237.

NCDC made the announcement on Saturday night via a report on its official website.

The health agency also confirmed the death of 10 persons due to complications from the virus. This brings the total number of fatalities so far to 1,964.
