The remaining slots for the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff will be decided on Sunday (today), the final day of the regular season, thedabigal reports.

Only Bendel Insurance from Group A and holders Rivers United, as well as Lobi Stars in Group B have qualified for the competition.

In Group A, three clubs: Enyimba, Remo Stars and Akwa United are still in contention for the remaining two slots available.

Enyimba, who sit in second position, will be guest of Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

Their hosts have nothing but pride to play for in the game which could make things easier for them.

Third-placed Remo Stars, who are yet taste defeat in the second stanza, will host Kwara United in Ikenne.

The situation look dicey for fourth-placed Akwa United who will need Enyimba and Remo Stars to drop points to have any chance of scaling through.

The Promise Keepers are away to Gombe United for their final game of the regular season.

In Group B, Doma United, Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors are vying for the remaining one slot.

Doma United have 26 points, while Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors are on 24 points.

The decisive clash will be in Umuahia where Abia Warriors will host Doma United.

Sunshine Stars will lock horns with already relegated Dakkada at the Ondo Sports Complex.
