Deputy Echeta has revealed that the hunger for success lured him to join Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers United.
Echeta was unveiled as a Rivers United player on Wednesday after signing for an undisclosed fee.
The enterprising forward helped Bendel Insurance win the 2023 Federation Cup.
Echeta left Bendel Insurance after the expiration of his contract.
“I signed for Rivers United to win trophies,” he stated in a chat with the club’s media during the unveiling ceremony.
“I’m not here to play but for serious business.”
