Nigeria were knocked out in the quarter final at the tournament in Argentina, but they made a huge impression beating tournament’s finalist Italy in the group stages and knocked out the host Argentina in the round of 16.
On the strength of their performance, top teams in Europe made advances to some players in the team and before by the end of the summer transfer window, a few of them will likely be on the move.
Already, the left full back of the team Solomon Agbalaka is in Germany to put pen to paper with an unnamed team. Sources said he has already atarted training and a fee has been agreed for the transfer with his team Broad City.
His official announcement is said to be imminent and per what we gathered, his move is the first for the regular back four for Nigeria at the U20 World Cup with the other three Benjamin Fredrick, Daniel Bameyi and Abel Ogwuche also expected to switch teams this summer.
