Eberechi Eze has made a successful playing return with Crystal Palace U23s.
Eze ruptured his Achilles in May on the same day he was told he was due to be in England’s provisional squad for the Euros.
He has made swift progress and returned ahead of schedule, playing 62 minutes for Palace’s U23s against Blackburn.
Palace had initially feared Eze may be out until 2022, but the winger now looks likely to feature at some point this year.

Asked about his recovery in October, Eze replied: “The day I come back is going to be beautiful for me.
“A beautiful experience stepping out with the fans. I haven’t experienced all the fans before. It’s going to be like my debut all over again. Amazing.”
