EFCC arrests 40 suspected internet fraudsters in FCT, Keffi

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters.

The suspects were arrested on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Mpape in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja and Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The suspects, comprising 38 males and two females, were arrested following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

Two cars, 56 phones, four smart watches, eight power banks and four laptops were recovered from them.

The anti-graft agency further stated that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
