Newly capped Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke has written his name in the history books of the UEFA Europa League as his team in his team 1-1 draw against Austrian side Wolfsberger AC.
The Nigerian was introduced after the half time break but for the 45 minutes that he was on the pitch he made an impact that went into the record books.
Ejuke completed 11 dribbles in record time. A feat that has not been achieved by any player in the history of the tournament. He also completed the highest amount of dribbles among all players who took part in the first round of group games.
Fans of CSKA Moscow are slowly warming up to his style and performance with two goals to his name from four league games since his move from Dutch side Heerenveen.
Capped by Nigeria in their last friendly game against Tunisia which ended in a 1-1 draw, he is expected to keep his spot in the squad for the AFCON 2021 qualifiers next month.
