Enyimba celebrate Flying Eagles invitations for Daga, Izuogu

Enyimba have celebrated the invitation of two of their players to the Nigeria U-20 squad for the 2023 All Africa games in Ghana.

The duo, Daniel Daga and Izuogu Chibueze, are among the 30 players listed by Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso, for the football event of the games.

“And the Bromance between Daniel Daga and Izuogu Chibueze makes it to the national team. The both have earned a call up to the camp of the Flying Eagles ahead of the Africa Games holding in Ghana, Congratulations,” Enyimba wrote on their X handle.

Daga have been on an impressive form since he joined the Peoples Elephant on a season-long loan at the start of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

He has featured in all of Enyimba’s games in the league this term.

Izuogu, on the other hand, have shown glimpses of his qualities in the middle of the park for Finidi George’s side.

He scored a wonderful goal in Enyimba’s victory against Shooting Stars in Ibadan last month.

Both players are expected to resume camping on Thursday (today) in preparation for the competition.
