Enyimba head coach Finidi George says his team will keep fighting to retain the Nigeria Premier Football League title.

The Aba giants fell to a 1-0 defeat against title rivals Remo Stars on Wednesday.

Enyimba dropped to fifth position on the NPFL table following the defeat.

The two-time African champions are four points adrift of leaders Lobi Stars.

Finidi insisted that his side will not give up their ambition of winning a record 10th NPFL title.

“Everything is still possible, we will not throw in the towel, and we will fight till the last day. We see our chances to defend the title and we will not relent in our efforts,” he told reporters.

Enyimba’s next game is at home against Kano Pillars on Sunday.
