EPL: Gary Neville predicts title winners, top four places

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has insisted that Arsenal will beat Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.

Last season’s top two teams began this campaign with victories.

City thrashed Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor, while Arsenal edged out Nottingham Forest 2-1 at the Emirates.

Arsenal missed out on the title last season after leading the way for over 240 days. City pulled clear before going on to win a historic Treble.

But Neville believes Mikel Arteta’s side could go all the way this season.

“I’m banking on three things for Arsenal. Post-treble, a little bit of a ‘sigh’.

“Although there was no sign of that against Burnley. More competitions this season, they don’t have the biggest squad.

“And Haaland getting injured, if he does miss 12-13 games, that could give Arsenal an advantage especially with the likes of Declan Rice now there. Havertz, Timber and Rice do improve them enormously – but losing Timber will be a big blow,” Neville said on Monday Night Football.

According to him, the top four teams will be Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
