EPL: No qualms over Southampton’s bench role – Aribo

Joe Aribo has refused to allow his current struggles at Premier League club, Southampton weigh him down.

The midfielder linked up with the Saints last summer on the back of his impressive showing for Scottish Premier League club, Glasgow Rangers.

The 26-year-old featured prominently under Ralph Hasenhuttl and his Nathan Jones.

Aribo has, however, found the going tough under current manager, Ruben Selles.

The Nigerian has not been included in Southampton’s matchday squad in the last four Premier League games.

“It’s the coach’s decision. I think every single coach has his own opinion on things. For me I’m not really too fazed because it’s processes. I just need to be patient and just wait on God’s timing which is perfect,” Aribo told Elegbete TV Sports.

“Of course, it is difficult. For any normal human it will be difficult. I don’t let that affect me too much.”
