EPL: Roy Keane predicts where Man City, Man Utd will finish this season

Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, has tipped his former side to finish in the Premier League top four this season.

Keane, however, does not expect the Red Devils to topple rivals Manchester City, who he has predicted to win the title again.

United finished in Champions League places under Erik ten Hag last season.

However, the sense of expectation has risen following the arrivals of Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund.

United began the campaign with a scrappy 1-0 win over Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday.

When asked if United could challenge City for top spot this year, Keane told Sky Sports: “No, I don’t think so.

“I just think it’s so hard to see beyond Man City. Again, I’ve said before, unless they really drop off and get really bad injuries and lose that hunger, then I think the other teams have a chance.

“United will be in the top four, Arsenal have improved, look at Newcastle. Aston Villa will respond well to it [losing 5-1 to Newcastle], obviously Liverpool and Chelsea, for a lot of the teams it’s about being top four and that’s the same for United.”
