Denmark playmaker, Christian Eriksen, FaceTimed his teammates urging them to resume their Euro 2020 clash with Finland, the UK Mirror reports.

Eriksen collapsed during the first half in Copenhagen, sparking distressing scenes on the pitch.

The 29-year-old was seen receiving CPR, while his teammates formed a barrier between him and any cameras.

He was down on the pitch for over 10 minutes, before being stretched away and rushed to hospital.

Eriksen is now awake and stable.

The player even contacted the others, telling them to finish the game as they look for a winning start to the tournament.

They eventually lost 1-0 to Finland.
