Ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash with Manchester United, Spanish LaLiga side, Sevilla have sacked their manager.
Jorge Sampaoli was sacked following Sevilla’s poor run of results that have seen them just two points above LaLiga’s relegation zone.
Sevilla will travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in the first leg of their last-eight tie on April 13 before the return leg in Spain on April 20.
“Sevilla FC has terminated the contract with its coach, Jorge Sampaoli,” a club statement said.
The club cited their latest defeat to Getafe, saying it has once again placed them on the verge of relegation.
