The debut date for Inter Milan new signing Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is now known following the success of the completion of the process that will make him eligible to play for the team, OGN reports.
Inter Milan beat competition from the likes of AC Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus, Roma, Benfica, Sassuolo and a couple of English clubs notably Brighton and Hove Albion to sign the talented 18 year old from Nigeria Professional Football League side Remo Stars.
His signing by Inter Milan which was first brought to public notice by OGN will see him start with the B team of the Serie A side, from where his progress will be monitored for promotion to the main team in the coming years. He was roundly scouted by the team during the Viareggio youth tournament.
Akinsanmiro returned to Italy from Nigeria over the weekend after the success of his work permit application and he is now expected to be available for the team’s next two games after watching the weekend’s game from the stand.
He has already started training with the Primavera side handled by ex Inter Milan defender Christian Chivu and he will likely make his debut against Cagliari tomorrow or Saturday against Juventus in Turin, after watching the dras against Bologna last weekend from the stands.
