Ex-Super Eagles winger, Uzoenyi leaves Rangers

Ejike Uzoenyi will not be participating in the 2023-24 Nigeria Professional Football League season with Rangers.

The former Super Eagles forward has been missing in the Flying Antelopes preparations for the new NPFL season.

Rangers media officer, Nobert Okolie said the 35-year-old might have retired from active football.

thedabigal gathered that the NPFL veteran failed to show-up to negotiate a contract extension with the club.

Uzoenyi last featured in Rangers 2023 Federation Cup loss to Bendel Insurance in Asaba.

He played over 60 matches for the seven-time NPFL champions.

Uzoenyi also featured for the reigning NPFL champions Enyimba in the past.
