The Nigeria U20 team will take on their counterparts from Zambia in an international friendly game meant to help both teams prepare adequately for the upcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Coach of the Nigerian team Ladan Bosso has already released his lineup for today’s game which will kick-off by 4pm at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja. The coach is lining up his best legs for this game.
Nathaniel Nwosu starts in goal with a back four of Daniel Bamaiyi, Abel Ogwuche, Augustine Njoku and Solomom Agbalaka. The major omission was Istanbulspor defender Michael Ologo, his form has been off color lately.
In midfield, the coach stuck with his trusted trio of Daniel Daga, Onuche Ogbelu and Samson Lawal who were instrumental in the team lifting the WAFU tournament in Niger Republic. They are expected to supply the balls to the front three.
Remo Stars forward Adams Olamilekan will lead the line in his new role as striker of the team. He is flanked by Ibrahim Mohammed popularly called Ibeji. Enterprising Plateau United winger Emmanuel Uchegbu who has been giving defenders hell in training.
Three top players missed out on starting the game namely Nicholas Jonathan, Haliru Sarki and Jude Sunday. We however gathered that they will no doubt be introduced as substitute.
