The senior national team of Nigeria will play two friendly games against same opponent in Cameroon in the month of June at their training camp in Austria, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Already a first game between both countries will take place on the 4th of June but after failing to secure another friendly with a different country, they will take on same opponent at same venue four days later.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that the second game will be more of a training game and won’t be capture as an international friendly game between both nations base on what was agreed earlier today.
Both countries are using the game to keep their players in shape and also try new players following the postponement of the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup which was earlier schedule to be played in June.
Already a provisional list of 31 players have been called up for the games in June with eight expected to be dropped before the game. Nigeria will play another friendly game against Mexico in July but as first mentioned by this portal it will be prosecuted by players playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
