Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has commented on goalkeeper, David De Gea’s performance following the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

Chelsea defeated Man United at Wembley Stadium, thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and Harry Maguire (OG).

Bruno Fernandes did score a late consolation goal for Solskjaer’s men.

But Solskjear said that De Gea should have saved the second goal Man United conceived against the Blues.

“Obviously, everyone has to perform,” Solskjaer was quoted by Football London as saying.

“Everyone has a chance to stake a claim in the team when they play.

“David knows he should have saved the second goal, that’s over now, and we have to look forward to Wednesday.”
