Family of late DAILY POST reporter, Edem Edem announces funeral arrangements

The family of late thedabigal reporter, Edem Umoh Edem, have announced the funeral arrangements.

Until his death the night of Wednesday August 18, Edem was the Cross River correspondent.

A statement on Monday by his son, Edem Umoh Edem, said the Mourning House will open on Wednesday October 27, 2021.

The venue is 20, Daniel Henshaw by Esiere Ebom Street, Calabar South Local Government Area.

Thursday October 28 will be for Visitation, while Service of Songs and Night of Tribute will take place on Friday October 29.

The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10am on Saturday October 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 68 Etta Agbor Road, Calabar.

The reception will also be held at 20, Daniel Henshaw by Esiere Ebom Street in Calabar.

Born October 1, 1960, Edem hailed from Eto-Mkpe (Inameti Yellow Duke House) in Akpabuyo Local Government Area.

The alumni of Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Lagos obtained a National Diploma in Mass Communication from The Polytechnic, Calabar, now Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH).

Edem graduated from the International Institute of Journalism (Affiliate of University of Maiduguri) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising.
