Fire breaks out during wedding reception in Lagos (video)

A wedding reception in Lagos has abruptly ended after a fire broke out at the venue, yesterday, 7 April.

The wedding celebration was in progress when chaos broke out at Yard 158, an event venue in Oregun, Lagos.

When it came time for the toast, the event planners let off firecrackers, but the flames quickly spread to the decorations that were strung throughout the venue.

The guests attempted to put out the fire, but it swiftly grew.

Fortunately, nobody was harmed by the fire.

In other news, a trending video of a couple who got married at 21 spurred mixed reactions online.

In the video from the wedding that was posted online, the pair were seen elegantly dressed in their wedding attire as they posed for the camera while surrounded by their loved ones who came to celebrate with them.

Sharing the video, the bride, @meethencubes, expressed excitement at settling down quite early with her boyfriend.

She noted that deciding to tie the knot at age 21 might have been a big decision, but they made it happen with God.

“Choosing to grow old with your bestfriend at 21 years old. We made it with God. Married at 21”, she captioned the video.
