The Super Eagles of Nigeria consisting of players picked from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have stepped up preparations for next month friendly game against Mexico.
Under the guidance of coach Austin Eguavoen with Paul Aigbogun as his assistant, the team have had five training sessions in preparation for the July 3rd game.

Ibrahim Olawoyin– Has emerged as one of the most talked about since the team resumed training. He has had a hand in the three goals scored in their session so far with two goals and an assist.
Nenrot Silas – His blistering pace and tricks on the hasn’t gone unnoticed. Eguavoen was pleasantly surprised by his performance a day before the naming of the final squad for the game. The coach had a chat with him where he encouraged him to keep working hard till he gets to the top.
Lawal Muritala Oriyomi – The left full back of Kwara United looked certain to start against Mexico and a good performance will likely hand him a spot in the main team with coach of the main team Gernot Rohr already a big admirer of his talent.
Muhammed Zulkifilu – Strong in duels, full of running and also shoots well. With 11 goals to his name in the NPFL he has looked very bit the player with such number so far in training.
Olisa Ndah – Hasn’t put a foot wrong in training. Calculative in his tacked and also carries the play from back with assured authority. No doubt he will be the cynosure of all eyes when the game is played on the 3rd of July.
