Calvin Bassey was send off on his first start for Fulham FC in the Premier League this Saturday.

Bassey featured from the start during Fulham’s 2-2 away draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

It was an eventful afternoon for the Super Eagles defender as he was having a great game before he was being given his marching orders in 83rd minute.

The 23-year-old received his first yellow card after Arsenal’s second goal, with Bassey claiming he was fouled near his ownbyeline by Saka.

The former Ajax defender was then shown a second yellow card for a foul on Eddie Nketiah.

After the game, Marco Silva defended the Nigerian international, saying the referee got the first booking wrong.
