Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has called a meeting of stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 20 local government areas of the state.
Those expected at the meeting include former and present governors, Deputy Governors, Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Commissioners, National Assembly members, Special Advisers, Speakers and members of the State Assembly, State Chairmen of APC and Local Government Council Chairmen
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Kunle Somorin, said the first in the series of meetings, which will hold at 3pm at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta.
The first meeting, Somorin said, will involve APC leaders from Ogun Central Senatorial District on Friday, May, 14.
The statement added that APC stakeholders from Ogun East and Ogun West would have their meeting at the same venue on Saturday by 12 noon.
thedabigal reports that the second category of invitees for the meeting are present “Governor’s Advisory Council, Board Chairmen, Commissioners in statutory commissions, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Local Government Party chairmen, Local Government council vice chairmen, State party officers and LG council secretaries.”
“The meeting is strictly by invitation,” Somorin said.
