Reality TV star and serial entrepreneur, Mercy Eke, has hit back at people mocking her over her accent.
The Imo-state born Big Brother Naija star, who has severally been the target of social media critics for her accent, questioned how else people want her to speak.
Mercy in a chat with a media personality Taymesan noted that her accent is only natural as she lived in Owerri almost all her life and only left for the national youth service in 2016.
She reaffirmed her confidence and added that football legend Cristiano Ronaldo speaks English with an accent and is adored by the public.

A while ago, a viral video of Mercy Eke in a heated argument with her sister stirred reactions from Nigerians on social media.
In the video which got people talking, Mercy Eke completely ditched English and switched to pidgin in the argument with her sister.
Reacting to the video, Nigerians noted that the viral video of Mercy Eke speaking Pidgin exudes realness.
