“I am now an American” – Nigerian man celebrates as the US military grants him citizenship

A Nigerian man, Suleiman Isah Isah who hails from Kano state has shared his new citizenship status via his Facebook page.

Isah, who got married to an American citizen, Janine Reimann on December 13, 2020 relocated with her and joined the US Army in May 2023.

Isah who turned 26 years old recently, met his wife Reiman on Instagram ten months before their wedding in 2020 when he was 23 years old while she was 46 years of age.

Reiman, who is a chef based in Lindon, California, later flew into Nigeria for their wedding ceremony which held on 13th of December 2022 and took place at Barracks Mosque Panshekara, Kano.

Sharing a picture of the US Certification of Naturalization with his name written on it, he appreciated the United States military for granting him the opportunity.

He wrote;

“Alhamdullillah, I am grateful to served in the world strongest military. Thanks to the United States military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American????????

Families, friends and well wishers have reached out to him through the comment section congratulating him on his newly acquired accomplishment while others showered him with love, prayers, and support.
