Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa professionally known as Charly Boy has stated that he doesn’t believe in one Nigeria.

The 71-year-old in a recent interview with the Nation noted that his submission is as a result of the current happenings in the country, which have continued to reoccur over the last four decades.

According to him, there’s no such thing as one Nigeria because the citizens find it difficult to understand themselves.

In his words,

“No, I don’t (believe in one Nigeria) because we are in bed with strange fellows who don’t understand us and we don’t understand them.”

Speaking further the self-styled number one Area father noted that he loves his life and proud of how he he has unfolded over the years.

“No, I will do it over and over again. I love my life. I love how I have unfolded over the years,” he said.
