The father of Lecce left back Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu said he is aware of interest from Nigeria in the senior international future of his son who is presently a player for the U21 of Denmark.

Born in Denmark to parents of Nigerian descent, he has played for Denmark at various youth levels but he is stop eligible for Nigeria at senior level, making it a straight fight with the African nation for his international future.
His performance this season has already led to talks of him gatecrashing the squad of the senior national team of Denmark for the European championship, but his father revealed that they have been contacts from Nigeria.
” I heard from his agent who is a Nigerian that someone from the head coach of the team (Jose Peseiro) has been in touch on having my son play for Nigeria. I am aware but for now we can only speculate about the future but he is settled on making the best of his club form and also the youth team of Denmark”, he told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
