21 year old Nigerian forward Terem Moffi says he is aware of interest in his service from German giants Borussia Dortmund but he plan to remain at French Ligue 1 side Lorient.
Signed from Kortrijk in Belgium, he has emerged as one of the most dreaded strikers in the French top division with 14 goals and three assists in 28 games this season.
His form hasn’t gone unnoticed with coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr handing him his first senior team call up during the last round of AFCON qualifiers games. He couldn’t make it because of the restrictions on traveling due to the coronavirus pandemic.
That same form has also caught the attention of top teams around the world with Dortmund who have close ties with his agent Emeka Obasi credited to be favorite for his signing.
Obasi has a good relationship with the hierarchy of the German side as he manages one of their prized assets in Jadon Sancho but Moffi isn’t keen on a move yet “ I’m having fun in Lorient and I want to stay here”, he replied when asked if a move to Dortmund will interest him.
