Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has sad he will greatly miss the late Alhaji Ahmed Joda’s wise counsel on a wide variety of economic and social issues.
Osinbajo in a statement he personally signed, described the northern elder statesman as an “exceptional statesman, committed patriot, outstanding technocrat and a bridge builder.”
Joda was Chairman of the Presidential Transition that followed the victory of the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket in the 2015 election.

“I join the President in expressing sincere condolence to the family and associates of an exceptional statesman, committed patriot, outstanding technocrat and bridge builder: Alhaji Ahmed Joda.”
He said Nigeria has lost a passionate believer in the nation.
He, however, prayed that the Lord will comfort his family, associates and the people of Adamawa State from whence he hailed and his memory always remains blessed.
