Ibadan Based Academy Thrash Nigeria U23 Team Ahead Of AFCON Qualifiers Game Against Tanzania

As part of their preparation for the upcoming U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania, the Nigeria U23 team were today beaten by Ibadan based academy VIA.

The Nigerian team who resumed training two days ago have just eight days before the first leg of the qualifiers in Tanzania and they had a dismal start to their build up by losing 3-0, although they have only trained for two days.

They were no match for the Ibadan based academy who showed enough to condemn the boys of coach Salisu Yusuf to defeat. All but four of the players invited by the coach have arrived at the camp of the team in Ibadan.

Age discrepancies has led to the axing of about twelve players called up in the initial list of players published below.
