Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, Emoseh Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian, has said she is in the music industry to compete with her male counterparts.

The musician said she does not see female colleagues as threats, stressing that it was high time for female artists to replace their male counterparts at the top echelon of the Nigerian music industry.

The ‘Blood On The Dance Flood’ crooner spoke in a recent interview with Album Talks.

She said, “I don’t see other female artists as threats. Actually, I’m here to occupy the spaces of the multiple male artists that you guys have put out this year. There are too many. It’s time to replace them with more women.”
