“I’m sick to my stomach” – Simi, Destiny Etiko, other celebrities react as Tinubu wins the Presidential election

Several Nigerian celebrities have gone online to react to the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president-elect of Nigeria.

This comes after INEC announced that the APC Chieftain won the most votes in the election to become the next president of Nigeria.

He amassed 35.3% of the total votes, defeating his closest rivals – Atiku Abubakar of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

Reacting to the news, some celebrities took to their respective social media page to share their sentiment about Tinubu’s win.

While some were enthused and congratulated the former Lagos state governor, others were discontented and expressed their disapproval with his victory.

A while back, actress Eniola Badmus reacted after she came under fire for sharing the “swearing-in aso-ebi” of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu’s popular logo was printed on the African print fabric known as Kampala.

Sharing the photo on her Instagram story, Eniola, who seemed very confident that her preferred candidate would emerge winner, asked her followers to hit her up to get theirs.

“Swearing-in Kampala is ready. holla if you want.” She wrote.

Her post didn’t sit well with Nigerians, including her colleagues, the likes of Lizzy Gold and Destiny Etiko, who berated her for putting up such a post when INEC was yet to declare a winner. Continue reading here
