In the wake of news linking Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen with a big money move to English Premier League giants Manchester United, fellow Serie A side AC Milan also have him on their wishlist.
This much was made known by Il Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) where it was claimed that Investcorp who are in talks over buying AC Milan has the Nigerian in their sight as priority signing.
With talks progressing nicely over their plans to acquire the team from Elliott Management, Osimhen is seen as a prime target as they aim to make a statement of what they intend to do by signing the 23 year old.
However with Napoli only willing to listen to offers in the region of over €100 million. Any likely deal with a direct rival is expected to be made steep as opposed to selling to a team playing in another league.
Osimhen’s agent met with the hierarchy of Napoli with talks centered around a likely exit next summer according to several sources. No offer has been formally lodged per what we gathered.
