The head of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Pastor Adewale Giwa has described Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as the worst Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Giwa claimed that the 2023 presidential election was not the first time Yakubu would be rigging elections.

According to him, Yakubu allegedly rigged the 2019 election in favour of Buhari against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and recently rigged out Atiku and Peter Obi in favour of Bola Tinubu of the ruling party.

In a statement to thedabigal on Friday, Giwa said “The recent rigging was embarrassing and disgraceful.

“People like Mahmood are the reason Western countries insult Africans who flee their countries in search of fair and equal economic opportunities.

“Yakubu tactically and transparently rigged the past and present elections due to greed and corruption.

“Even in Adamawa, the world could clearly see what the nation’s electoral body represents. It is very evident that Mahmood, like other politicians, is ruled by greed and selfishness. What do you expect from a man nominated by president Buhari?

“It’s time for Nigeria to practice true federalism where the people select the national electoral body to avoid presidents selecting ‘Mahmood-like’ individuals to rule in their favour,” he claimed.
