Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said former President Muhammadu Buhari never understood that Biafra is self-determination.
This was as Ejimakor explained that Biafra’s agitation was not treason or terrorism.
In a message to President Bola Tinubu, Ejimakor said Buhari’s lack of understanding was responsible for the hounding of Kanu and IPOB members.
Tweeting, Ejimakor wrote: “Mr President (@officialABAT), the demand for BIAFRA is called ‘self-determination’. It’s not treason or terrorism.
“But Buhari didn’t understand this; that’s why he hounded IPOB & renditioned MNK.
“As a smart man, you’re expected to understand & act differently. Again, #FreeMNK.”
