Davido’s aide, Isreal Afeare, also known as Israel DMW, has called on Nigerians to beg the singer not to sack him following reports of his suspension, after he commented on Abba Kyari’s indictment by the FBI.

Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) had revealed that Abba Kyari received N8 million from Hushpuppi to arrest and jail his co-conspirator, Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, despite claims that he was not paid for such purposes.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba would go on to recommend the immediate suspension of Mr Kyari, from the Service of the Nigeria Police Force, pending the outcome of an ongoing internal investigation touching on him. The Police Service Commission also confirmed Kyari’s suspension from the Force on Sunday.

Hushpuppi and five gang members were arrested for allegedly being involved in fraud and laundering money meant to finance a school for children in Qatar.

Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation to track down Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud perpetrated by Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi.

The affidavit accused Kyari of conspiring and arranging for Vincent to be arrested and jailed at Abbas’ behest, and then sent Abbas photographs of Vincent after his arrest.

Kyari had denied any wrongdoing in a statement on Facebook, the senior police officer narrated that Abbas called him two years ago to complain about a person threatening to kill his family.

Reacting to the revelation, Israel DMW took to social media to drag the FBI, as he said the supercop remains his favourite.

There have been allegations the DMW boss sacked Israel DMW after he took to social media to drag the FBI following the order to arrest Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari for his alleged involvement with the popular fraudster, Hushpuppi.

According to Israel, Nigerians are not helping the situation with their negative comments about him on social media.

Speaking further, Israel said he is currently depressed and Nigerians should apologise to Davido on his behalf.

“You people should kindly help me beg my oga not to sack me, through his personal lawyer Jiggy, than adding to my current depression of pressuring him to send me off,” he wrote.

He said he would fall into depression if Davido sacks him.

“What would be you people’s gains, after 9 good years? I never knew the gravity of my actions, until Ubi Franklin personally called to tell me. Am very sorry sir.”
