The sporting director of Enyimba Jude Anyafudu has frowned at reports linking winger Anayo Iwuala with a move to Manchester United.
Reacting to the reports, Jude said the perpetrators of the false link are harming the image of Enyimba as a brand with such false statement, “ We are a serious team and we don’t take such false news lightly”, he said.
Speaking further with Owngoalnigeria.com, the seasoned administrator said they have received some bids from teams interested in Anayo but Manchester United have not made any move for the 22 years old.
“ It’s pure nonsense. We have received offers for Anayo but not from Manchester United. He will be transferred at the end of the season hopefully but for now he is ours and his mind is to help us achieve our immediate aim of doing well this season”, he concluded.
