Nigerian singer, Iyanya has responded to allegations that his ex-lover, Yvonne Nelson, is responsible for his career downfall for the past 10 years.
Recall that Iyanya made waves in the entertainment industry in 2012-2013 after the release of his hit songs ‘Your waist’ and ‘kukere’ but his career took a downturn afterward.
Following Yvonne Nelson’s recent accusation that he cheated on her with actress Tonto Dikeh during their brief relationship in the past, a Twitter user claimed the Ghanaian actress placed a curse on Iyanya due to his infidelity.
According to the tweep, Iyanya’s career took a nosedive all these years because Yvonne cursed him for his infidelity not only with Tonto Dikeh but also with other women.
The tweep took to the comment section of a post about her newly-released memoir ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ and wrote, “Yes you are not, you are a Mami water that cursed @Iyanya for 10yrs because of Prick! Things really fell apart for him.. Thank you for releasing him..”
This remark caught the eye of the singer and he simply commented saying, “Them no born am well to fit curse me ????????”
