Jigawa: Gov Badaru appoints eight permanent secretaries

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries.

This was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Service (HoS), Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, and issued to thedabigal.

They were appointed to fill the vacancies in the state civil service.

The HoS said those appointed are successful directors elevated to the position of Permanent Secretary.

They include: Safiya I. Muhammad, Abdullahi Hassan, Lawan Muhammad Bello, Uwani Jafaru, Dr. Rabi’u Miko, Abdulrahman A. Mato, Nuhu Haruna, Dr. Haruna Usman.

The statement said the appointment of the new Permanent Secretaries is purely on merit, competency, personal integrity and seniority.

The statement further said all the appointments take immediate effect.
