Jos Based Coach Who Unearthed Four Super Eagles Players Bags Doctorate Degree

Football lovers in Jos have decorated the famous proprietor of Golden Boot Soccer Academy (GBS) Ahmed Ibrahim with a doctorate degree for his contribution to football development in Plateau State.

The coach who is well known with his moniker “Coach Bros” received the honor at his resident in Bukuru axis of Plateau State in a low key ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.

His house which also accommodate young footballers who are aspiring to be like the other players he has groomed were the only recognize guest at the low key event.

Coach Bros discovered and groom the Super Eagles quartet of Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon and Kingsley Madu as well as 13 players who are now scattered around Europe. He also boast of as many as 15 players in the Nigeria Professional League.

Speaking on the award, the soft spoken technical director of Plateau United dedicated the award to his family particularly his wife for her constant support and also the football family In Jos.

“ This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my wife because her support has got me going. I also want to thank the government and people of Plateau State in general and Nigeria at large for the support”.
