When Juventus clash with Napoli on Friday at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona all eyes will be on Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen, who has been a huge force behind Napoli’s grip on the leader’s position in the Serie A.
Osimhen has scored ten goals this season and woll be looking for his 11th when Juventus come visiting. Breaching the Juventus defence will not be easy for the forward with the Turin side boasting of one of the meanest defence in the league.
As a matter of fact they have not conceded a goal in their last 8 games in the league, a run that saw them pick up straight eight wins to move to within seven points of Napoli. One player who has been pivotal in that defence is Gleison Bremer.
The Brazilian will face a stern test against Osimhen but it’s a task that he said he is looking forward to with confidence and detailed how he intends to stop the rampaging Nigerian from doing damage to his team.
He has twice stopped Osimhen from scoring in previous games and he revealed the secret as he aims to do it for the third time.’’You can’t give him space, you can’t stop him in an open field’’, he said ahead of Friday’s game.
