Kim Kardashian revealed her effort to secure housing for a former inmate was unsuccessful despite offering to pay for five year rent in advance.
Kim had reached out privately to former inmate, Matthew Charles, 52, to let him know she will be paying the first five years of his rent after reading that he had struggled to secure housing in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, due to his criminal record.
She took to her Instagram story to reveal that landlords were still turning him down, despite her efforts .
She called on anyone who could give him accommodation to send an email .
