Femi Olaleye, a popular Lagos doctor accused of defiling his wife’s niece, has been remanded in Ikoyi prison pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
Olaleye, who was accused of defiling the minor who was living with him and his wife at their home in Lagos State after her father passed away, was arraigned before an Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court on Wednesday, November 30.
He reportedly deflowered the 16-year-old victim after introducing her to pornographic materials.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of defilement of a child and sexual assault by penetration. He was then granted a bail of N50m with two sureties in like sum.
Reacting, comedienne Princess, who has become a vocal advocate for abused children after her foster daughter was sexually abused by actor Baba Ijesha, expressed her satisfaction with the judge’s order and shared a video of Olaleye being led to the Ikoyi Correctional Center.
She described Olaleye and Baba Ijesha as Kirikiri boys, while noting that a certain pastor will soon become a Kirikiri boy too.
