“Leave gay people alone, they are not your problem”

Blogger, Kosi Ugo has written an open letter to Nigerians saying “gay people are not your problem” and advising them to face the government and leave of gay people alone

Dear Nigerians, gay people are not your problem. Face the government and leave gay people alone!
You know, I’ve come to realize with time that we live in a country where we don’t set our priorities straight.
We fight for things that are not-so-important, thereby, leaving the important ones lying fallow.
Let’s face it. The gay act bill is the most stupid bill Nigeria has ever passed into law.
Thinking of it now, I cringe and shake my inches in shame.
Nigeria and the people living in her, do not have shame.
A law bill has not been passed for corrupt politicians to be hanged like that of China. A bill has not been passed to stop child marriage in the North. A bill has not been passed to castrate rapist. Of all things to sign into law, it was what people choose to do with their private parts.
You see, we practice selective morality in this country and it really baffles me, because even the Bible says that sin is sin; there is no greater or lesser sin.
So, after commiting fornication and adultery, you still believe gay people should be persecuted for doing that same thing you did, just that theirs was with the same gender?
You must really have some balls!
There are a lot of things wrong with the LGBTQ agenda, but everyone should be allowed to fuck who they want, since there’s no law that stops straight people from fucking who they want.
As far as I’m concerned, the gay community in Nigeria are one of the friendliest and harmless group of people. So far as they are not threats to the peaceful existence of the society, then they should be left alone.
Stop persecuting gay people!
