Nigeria forward Jerome Akor scored twice in Montpellier’s 3-0 away win against Lorient at the Stade Yves Allainmat-Le Moustoir on Sunday night.

Akor scored the curtain raiser for the visitors on the half hour mark after he was set up by Mousa Tamari.

Midfielder Teji Tavanier doubled the advantage from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.

Akor netted his second of the game a minute from time.

The 23-year-old has now scored five goals in seven league league appearances for Montpellier this season.

The win was Montpellier’s first in six league outings.
