Netizens have called the attention of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to a birthday surprise video making rounds on social media.

In the viral video, a young Nigerian man surprised his girlfriend with a truckload of presents and cash gifts on her birthday.

The lover boy went above and beyond to shower his woman with gifts on her special day, including shoes, bags, expensive wigs, a customized pillow, and a mug.

To top it all off, the boyfriend surprised her with a huge money cake, a money bouquet, and a box filled with cash.

The lady was so excited when she was led into the hotel room where the gifts were waiting for her that she began screaming and jumping for joy.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online as some netizens gushed over the luxury gifts, and praised the man for spoiling his girlfriend.

However, some made jokes about calling the attention of the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the video as money bouquet was recently listed as a form of naira abuse.

It would be recalled that in line with the new naira policy, money bouquet, spraying, selling, squeezing the naira note has been banned in Nigeria, and Nigerians have been encouraged to report anyone found guilty to CBN.

In the light of this, people trooped to the comment section of the post to joke about tagging CBN.
