Manchester United are stepping up their interest in Fiorentina attacker Enrico Chiesa.

The Viola have turned down offers from Inter and Juventus because they involved player-plus-cash deals, but United are ready to offer a cash up-front bid of €50 million.
While it is claimed Fiorentina want a higher fee than the Red Devils are offering, that bid will help smooth over negotiations for the 22-year-old.
