A Nigerian man Shola who was arrested for creating a Goodluck Jonathan parody Twitter account has spoken out after he was detained for 90 days in prison.
Shola in his Twitter page profile, made it clear that he wasn’t trying to impersonate the former Nigerian president but that the account which he grew personally was a parody account.
He accuse his telecommunication service provider of giving out his information without his consent.
He narrated that the The telecommunications service provider gave out 5 numbers in which his uncle’s digit was among as they got to uncle’s place with guns.
According to Shola after he was arrested like criminal,he was taken to SARS Ogbomosho from where he was transferred to SARS in Ibadan where he spent the night sleeping on urine. Shola was eventually transferred to Abuja by road, with his legs chained like a criminal.
He narrated his ordeal while in prison and how people with worse crimes than him came and left while he remained in custody. He was eventually released after almost 90 days but he says his ordeal is not over as his mental health is endangered.
