Senegal forward Sadio Mane believes their experience will be an advantage when they face Egypt in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final this evening at the Olembe Stadium, Cameroon.

Mane and his teammates are seeking to win the title for the first time since Senegal made debut appearance in 1965.

Mane scored his third goal of the tournament in the Indomitable Lions’ 3-1 semi-final defeat of Burkina Faso on Wednesday and Liverpool forward is confident that they have what it takes to lift the trophy.

“Experience is a good asset. I think that has always been the case since the start of this tournament. We suffered so much with a lot of Covid cases and several injuries too.
